Last weekend we had the pleasure of interviewing Puerto Rican-Panamanian DJ, multi-platform artist, and activist Bembona at the New Latin Wave festival. Born & raised in Brooklyn, NY, Bembona's work bridges the gap between POC communities, generations, activist work & beyond. She goes deep on Afrolatinidad and the artists who have inspired her work and her life. MIL GRACIAS to everyone who showed up and out for this event - lxs queremos muchísimo!
